The 2008 Law School Survey of Student Engagement (LSSSE) was released today, and it includes a survey of students on their use of laptops in the classroom. The survey results showed that - despite the laptop banner's assumptions - students who used their laptops in class were actually more engaged than those who did not. "It was reassuring to know that...[students] are using the technology to advance their own learning," said George Kuh, director of the LSSSE.
